Super Sumaq

We believe that food is memory, identity, and connection. Super Sumaq is a conceptual Pop-Up Store based in Erfurt, Germany, celebrating the richness of Peruvian cuisine through design, storytelling, and cultural exchange. Inspired by the fusion of ancestral traditions and global influences, this project redefines the idea of "personal luxury" as the enjoyment of new and meaningful experiences. From ceviche to lomo saltado, from pre-Inca roots to Nikkei and Chifa cuisine, Super Sumaq introduces a vibrant, multicultural food experience wrapped in a bold and dynamic visual identity. This project aims to position Peru as both a culinary and cultural destination, inviting audiences to taste, learn, and feel the soul of a nation in every bite.

Color & Territory
At Super Sumaq, color is more than a visual element — it’s a storytelling tool.
Each tone in our identity represents a region of Peru, capturing the essence of its geography, culture, and flavor:
SEA: The Pacific Ocean, source of life and freshness, symbolized in calming blue tones — home of ceviche and maritime traditions.
COAST: The desert and colonial coastlands, expressed in warm yellow, evoking sun, tradition, and pre-Columbian mystery.
ANDEAN: The heart of Peru. Earthy red tones reflect the strength, depth, and richness of the Andes — land of potatoes, corn, and ancestral wisdom.
FOREST: The Amazon, lush and vibrant, brought to life in green. A region of exotic fruits, herbs, and unexplored culinary potential.
These four colors are not only visual identifiers — they represent a unified vision of diversity. Together, they form the palette of Super Sumaq: a celebration of Peru’s natural and cultural abundance.
