Total Global

A board game about perspective, identity, and cultural complexity. Total Global is an educational game for 3–6 players aged 12 and up. Designed to challenge assumptions and promote intercultural understanding, the game invites players to step into imagined roles tied to different national identities — and try to guess each other’s backgrounds based on unfolding events. As part of the project, I worked on the visual identity, editorial design, and exhibition presentation, developing a cohesive aesthetic language with tactile materials, clear iconography, and a neutral tone that supports open dialogue. The design is simple, the theme is not. Each icon on the board represents a life event: a job interview, a demonstration, a family gathering, or a police stop. As players navigate these everyday moments, they are invited to reflect on how background and perception shape experience.

You don’t choose your identity. You play with it.
What happens when your story is told by someone else?
What if your name, your passport, your narrative — was just a card in someone else's hand?
This is not just a game.
It’s a quiet confrontation.
A mirror.
A chance to unlearn.
